introducing a parasitic ant queen

there are various tactics for introducing a parasitic queen. the best is to put pupae and so-called "greyishes" (newborn workers, usually working with the brood) of the host species in the tube with the queen. but if you can only use workers you can also use them.
the most commonly used tactics are the refrigerator technique, active natural introduction and the partial natural introduction:

the fridge technique:
you put the parasitic queen in one tube, and at least 20 workers in another.
you put both tubes in the refrigerator until they miove very slowly (this does not kill them).then you quickly put them together without them being able to react. the queen and the workers then  stay in the fridge until they are used to each other.

benefits:
1. workers are less aggressive.
2. If everything goes well, it can succeed without the queen's / workers' deaths

cons:
1. small chance of success
2. Too long in the fridge is also not great. put them in for example a night / couple of hours.
The disadvantages of this are that the workers may not be used to the queen yet.

active natural introduction:
you make an outworld (I would say just an empty plastic box) and put 2 tubes in it; one with the queen, one with at least 20 workers. when the queen gets out of the tube she will  probably be discovered by a worker, who immediately tries to kill her. the queen then retreats  to her tube and kills the worker. she then licks the corpse to get the colony odor. when she goes outside again the 2nd interaction is much more friendly.

benefits:
1. the colony oder is almost certainly taken over.
2. Almost safe for the queen.

cons:
1. you have to sacrifice a worker.
2. The queen can be confronted with several workers at the same time, giving her a higher chance of dying.
3. It is difficult to remove the tubes with all the workers in them after the introduction.

partial natural introduction:
one of the workers gets crushed and placed in the tube of the queen. let the queen then take over the colony odor and place her  in the outworld  with the workers in another tube (see previous technique). the queen can (probably) go to the workers without a worker trying to kill her immediately.

benefits:
1. very safe for the queen.
2. Easy to introduce

cons:
1. you have to sacrifice a worker.
2. It is difficult to remove the tubes with all the workers in them after the introduction.
